Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Workman Trading Company ("we", "us") about using Swerve. By using Swerve you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Swerve is

Swerve helps you find cars for sale. Listings come from dealers and other third parties. We don't sell cars, we aren't a dealer or broker, and we aren't part of any sale between you and a dealer. Check every detail of a car, including its price, history and condition, with the dealer before you buy.

Prices, availability and descriptions can be wrong or out of date. Deal ratings, value estimates and recall information are estimates to help you compare, not appraisals or professional advice.

Your account

You need to be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. Keep your sign-in secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app.

Swerve Plus

  • Swerve Plus is sold through Apple. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
  • Plans renew automatically, every month or every 3 months depending on the plan, until you cancel. Your Apple ID is charged for the next period within 24 hours before the current one ends.
  • Cancel at least 24 hours before a period ends to avoid the next charge: Settings › your name › Subscriptions on iPhone. You keep Plus until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • If a plan includes a free trial, it's shown before you buy. If you don't cancel during the trial, the subscription starts and you're charged.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies: reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • We may change what's included in Plus or its price. Price changes for existing subscribers follow Apple's rules, including notice before they apply.

Ads

Free use of Swerve includes sponsored cards. Ads are provided by third parties, and we don't endorse what they advertise.

Using Swerve fairly

Don't misuse Swerve. In particular, don't:

  • copy, scrape or resell listings or other data from the app;
  • try to get around Swerve Plus, ads or security, or interfere with how the app works;
  • use Swerve to break the law or to harass anyone.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Our content

The Swerve app, its design and its content belong to us or to the companies we license them from. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own car shopping. Notes and other things you add stay yours; you let us store and process them to run the app for you.

Disclaimers

Swerve is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that listings, prices, ratings or other information are accurate or complete.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything arising from a purchase or other dealing between you and a dealer. Our total liability to you for any claim about Swerve is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if that's more. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Apple

If you got Swerve from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple isn't responsible for Swerve or for supporting it, and these terms are between you and us, not Apple.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app about changes that matter. If you keep using Swerve after a change, the new terms apply.
